Who we are

Bridge 2 Profit operates bridge2profit.com. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

What we collect and why

When you create an account we collect your name and email address so that we can identify you and give you access to full articles. When you subscribe to a newsletter we collect your email address so that we can send you the emails you asked for. When you enable browser alerts we store the subscription endpoint your browser generates. We record the consent you gave, when you gave it and a hashed form of the IP address it came from, because the law requires us to be able to evidence that consent.

What we do not collect

We do not require a phone number. We do not store your full IP address for longer than 30 days. We do not store your full browser user agent; we store a one-way hash of it.

Your rights

You may access your data, correct it, withdraw a consent you gave, and ask us to erase your account. Withdrawal is one toggle in your account preferences. Export and erasure are both available from your account page.

Retention periods for every category of data are listed in our data retention schedule.

Grievance redressal

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, contact our grievance officer through the grievance redressal page. We respond within 30 days.
